Call for papers
IPMU’2022 seeks original research contributions of a theoretical and methodological nature as well as application-oriented contributions. Leading researchers and practitioners are invited to submit their papers to the conference.
NEW!!! Call for Abstracts
You are welcome to submit a 1-2 page abstract of your work in progress, your newest or position ideas.
The abstract will be reviewed by the program committee and, once accepted, you will be able to participate at the conference to present your research.
Although your abstract will not be published in the CCIS Springer book (where only long papers will appear), it will be included in the book of abstracts, which will have its own ISBN.
The presentation of novel ideas will undoubtedly open up interesting discussions among the participants, leading to potential new collaborations.
We are convinced that the comments you receive during the presentation and the conversations with your colleagues will help you to finalize your work, which may be presented in some special issues of top journals organized after the conference.
Submit your abstract to the Easychair page https://easychair.org/conferences/?conf=ipmu2022 by selecting the option “abstract only”.
Abstract submission opens on March, 7th and closes on April, 30th.
Acceptance notifications will be as soon as the abstract is reviewed and no later than May, 6th.

IPMU’2022 seeks original research contributions of a theoretical and methodological nature as well as application-oriented contributions. Leading researchers and practitioners are invited to submit proposals for Special Sessions.
The proponents are expected to provide sufficient evidence in support of their special session topic, explaining why it deserves distinct focus and how it relates to the themes of the conference. Evidence of the potential to attract a sufficient number of submissions to the special session should also be provided. Each special session is expected to attract 4 – 6 accepted papers. A 200€ discount on registration will be offered to each special session.
Send your proposal to the Special Sessions Chair Célia da Costa Pereira (firstname.lastname@example.org) in PDF format before Friday, 15 October 2021. Decisions on acceptance or rejection will be provided by Sunday, 31 October 2021. The proposals should include the following information:
- Title of the session
- List of organizers with contact details and short biographical details (up to 100 words for each organizer)
- Description of the session, why the topic needs specific attention and how it relates to IPMU’2022 themes.
REVIEW PROCESS OF SPECIAL SESSION SUBMISSIONS
Papers submitted to the accepted special sessions will be treated as regular papers from both the perspective of the review process and of the proceedings (e.g., length, timeline). However, the session organizers will be asked to nominate reviewers.
